To connect your own domain, add the domain to your store in the Vitrula dashboard, create the DNS record that the domain wizard shows at your registrar, wait for verification and let the SSL certificate issue automatically. Propagation usually takes minutes to a few hours; the wizard shows live status.

## Steps

1. **Buy or choose a domain**: Use a domain you own or buy one from a registrar of your choice.
2. **Add the domain to your store**: Open the store's domain settings and add the domain; the wizard shows the exact DNS record to create.
3. **Create the DNS record**: Sign in to your registrar or DNS provider and add the record exactly as shown.
4. **Wait for verification**: The wizard checks DNS and SSL status live; DNS changes can take minutes to a few hours.
5. **Make it the primary domain**: When it shows verified, set it as the primary address and test the storefront over HTTPS.

## Is SSL included?
Yes. The SSL certificate for a connected domain is issued automatically and you can follow its status in the wizard.

## How many domains can I connect?
Starter allows 1 domain, Pro 5 and Business 20. Each domain points to one store.

### Why is my domain not verifying?
Usually the DNS record is missing, has a typo or has not propagated yet. Compare it with the wizard's value and wait; the wizard keeps checking.

### Can I keep my email on the same domain?
Yes. Email records are separate; only add the record the wizard asks for and leave your mail records unchanged.
